I've never painted a kitchen sink, but I might
as well.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, 1953. Mom
used to say that by the age of three she had me on her lap, with
a pencil in my hand, drawing happy faces. Believe it or not, I
have some teeny memory of that. But my first real recollection of
art created
was kneeling on the kitchen chair watching her produce masterful
paint-by-numbers. (I recall a beautiful Alice and Cheshire Cat
in Wonderland scene.) We were not the sort of family that could
afford
real "gallery" art, but I wish I owned some of her
paintings today. They hung on our walls for years.
